Our Achievements
Since its establishment, Help4Refugees has worked to translate compassion into tangible impact. Through coordinated fundraising efforts, community partnerships, and volunteer-led initiatives, the organization has provided direct support to displaced families and refugees in need. Our achievements reflect a commitment to transparency, efficiency, and sustainability—ensuring that resources are responsibly allocated to meet urgent humanitarian needs. Beyond material aid, Help4Refugees has fostered awareness, education, and cross-community engagement, empowering individuals to contribute meaningfully to global humanitarian efforts.

Bracelet Workshops

During the first semester, the Help4Refugees club hosted bracelet workshops for both high school students and fifth graders to promote empathy and hands-on service. Each session included a presentation on the global refugee crisis and stories from past fellowships, followed by bracelet-making and note-writing for refugees. These workshops transformed awareness into action, empowering students to express compassion and create meaningful impact through simple acts of kindness.
Christmas Bazaars

Christmas Bazaars are an annual fundraising event for the initiative to participate in. Every year, Help4Refugees hosted a booth with varying items on sale. Not only were the booths for fundraising purposes, but the team's goal is to spread the stories and share Syrian culture at the same time. All of the profits earned through the bazaars were directly transferred to Mr. Jordan Hattar, contributing to many of the refugees in need of education and housing.
Jordan Hattar's Concordia Visit

Mr. Jordan Hattar, the founder of the humanitarian non-profit Help4Refugees, was invited to visit the Concordia campus in early January 2026. His visit included classrooms and assembly talks, introducing the whole community to the refugee crisis and also connecting students and teachers with the refugees by zoom calling them. Many of the students were inspired by the stories and have asked about participating in fellowships. The team hopes to continue to make this impact within the community with Jordan leaving such a strong impression.
Through Their Eyes

Through Their Eyes was a student-led refugee photography exhibition organized by Help4Refugees Concordia from August 23 to September 6, 2026. Featuring photography by Shahd and writing by Nour, the exhibition aimed to help visitors look beyond the label of “refugee” and connect with the stories and experiences behind it.
The exhibition also included an opening event, a flower-pot workshop with Ismahan, and an Artist Dialogue with Shahd and Nour, giving visitors opportunities to engage directly with the creators and their stories.
